Unfortunately this ticket is not refundable nor is it exchangeable and is subject to our terms and conditions.

Can I bring my own food or drink into the zoo?

Prepared or packaged food or meals are not permitted inside the park. These can be consumed at the picnic tables just outside the entrance to the zoo next to the parking lot. Here is a list of permitted food and drink items brought in from outside the zoo:

Bottled water (max 20 oz. bottle, sealed), one per guest

Small snacks for young children

Baby food/baby formula

Soft-sided insulated bags no larger than 8.5” wide 6” high by 6” deep (limit one per child)

Pre-purchased empty ZooTampa souvenir cups

Any food required for medical purposes and medically-indicated nutritional supplements

Are there food and beverages available inside the zoo?

Absolutely! There are many different options inside the zoo whether you wanna have a snack or a full meal. In addition, accommodations can be made for those with gluten sensitivity or any special dietary needs. Click here for a full list of food and beverage areas in the zoo. 

Are there wheelchairs available to rent?

Yes, both manual wheelchairs and ECVs are available for rent inside the zoo on a first come, first served basis. Due to the popularity of these rentals, the zoo is unable to guarantee availability or reserve equipment. Rental fee plus a held photo ID as a deposit are required to rent a manual or electric wheelchair. Personal wheelchairs and ECVs are welcome inside the zoo.

Are there strollers available to rent?

The zoo offers the rental of strollers on a first come, first served basis. Due to the popularity of the rentals, the zoo is unable to guarantee availability and/or reserve equipment, Rental fee plus a held photo ID as a deposit are required to rent a stroller.

Is there parking available?

Yes, ample free parking is available just outside the front entrance of the zoo.

Can I get there without a car?

You sure can! The zoo is serviced by HART Bus Routes 41 and 45.
