Van Zandt thought the west and southwest so beautiful, he named the flights “The Rainbow Route,” as depicted on the aircraft at that time.

Today, Grand Canyon Airlines has provided millions of visitors from all over the world with memories and experiences of a lifetime and continues to share the Grand Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, Monument Valley, and more!

All passengers must present one valid government-issued form of identification.

Does the airline provide round-trip shuttle service?

From the Las Vegas area, Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines provides complimentary shuttle service to and from most major hotels on the main part of the Strip, which encompasses the area between the Stratosphere and Mandalay Bay. Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines picks up at most major hotels in the Downtown area. If you’re staying on or near the Strip and they do not pick up at your particular hotel, they will attempt to pick you up at the hotel closest to where you’re staying. At the South Rim, they do not provide airport shuttle service as many area hotels are within 10 minutes’ driving time. Some hotels in Tusayan offer airport shuttle service. Inside the park, taxi service is available 24 hours a day with prior arrangement.

Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines only offers shuttle service to hotels. However, a passenger does not need to be staying at a hotel to be picked up at one.
