Is parking available at the planetarium?

Yes. Parking is available in the Chicago Park District‘s lot adjacent to the Adler Planetarium or in the parking garage at Soldier Field. Metered street parking is also available but is limited. All parking on the Museum Campus is owned by the Chicago Park District and managed by Standard Parking. Can I bring my own food items?

Yes, guests are welcome to bring with them their own pre-prepared meals. However, please refrain from bringing large coolers.

How much time should I expect to spend time at the planetarium?

Expect to spend at least 3 hours inside as there are many interesting exhibits and shows to view throughout the day.
